READY TO DANCE IT OFF?

You are never too old to learn to dance and we welcome anyone that wants to learn the joys of dance and movement. No matter what your motivation is, to fulfill a childhood dream, or to just get moving we are here to make it an enjoyable experience for you. Use the power of movement to get in shape, feel better about yourself, or go on to dance in theatre, concerts, shows, or social, our classes will make you feel great and relaxed.

HIP HOP

•Ages 18 and up

 

Hip-hop is a form of expression; hip-hop allows you to create intricate movements to music that portray how you are feeling in that particular moment. Hip-hop has many different styles which allows the teacher to express their own individuality during their classes. Hip-hop includes styles such as breaking, popping, locking, krumping, as well as freestyle movement to give students the opportunity to develop their own style. You will see hip-hop in music videos, commercials, and throughout the entertainment industry. Our teachers provide high energy classes that focuses on using different styles of music whether it is fast or slow, old school or new. Students will learn some of the latest steps and choreography, which will allow them to put their own personality and attitude with the instructor’s combination. The more comfortable the student becomes they will begin to hit the accents in the music and make the combo come alive with their musicality and attitude. Hip-hop evolves each and everyday so each combination could be different from day to day, week to week, or class to class.

TAP

•Ages 18 and up

 

Tap is an art form in itself that teaches rhythm, timing, and balance using the dancer’s feet. Tap dancers learn how to use their feet like a drum to create rhythmic patterns and sounds. Tap, like hip- hop has many different styles but a lot of times you can categorize it into a couple of different styles. Broadway style is a lot more “showy” because you will use your arms and upper bodies as well as your feet to blend it in with the tap routine. The other style is called rhythm tap. Rhythm tap is based more on the rhythms that you are making with your feet than on using your arms and upper body. A lot of times rhythm tap dancers are considered “hoofers.” A “hoofer” tries to use every part of the tap shoe to create as many different and unique sounds with their feet as they can think of. Tap is a terrific way to enhance one’s coordination and rhythm. Tap dance is a particular dynamic art form where dancers continually to mold and shape it.

PARTY CARDIO

•Ages 18 and Up

 

Are you ready for a fun and energetic way to get moving? Party Cardio makes you feel like you are dancing in the spotlight with all of your friends. Party Cardio is a 45 minute high-intensity cardio dance class that will tone, sculpt, and energize you while dancing to rhythm-based choreography. Join your instructor, your motivator in dancing to one-of-a-kind playlist synced to club lighting that feels like a fun filled party and dance it off without even knowing it. 

SLIDE BOARD

•Ages 18 and Up

 

If you are ready for something new and fun, you should try our slide board class that will get you moving in an all new way. Join our energetic instructor for an intense cardio experience that will burn the calories off while working your entire lower body with an emphasis on your core. Sliding is a low impact movement that will make you feel great at any age. Don’t worry if you have never tried it before, we will start you off slow to get you ready.

ZUMBA

•Ages 16 and Up

 

Zumba mixes low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance party. Zumba combines all the elements of fitness into each class, cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, and boosted energy. Our certified instructors will take you on a Latin and World rhythms ride and have you dancing to the beat in no time.

STRETCH

•Ages 16 and Up

 

Relax the week away with our Stretch class that will leave you relaxed and energetic. Our class will help reduce the buildup of stress that causes your muscles to contract, making you feel tense and uneasy. Stretching will not only help jump-start your mind and body but it has many health benefits that will keep you moving.
